How much we paid šŸ‘‡ā£ ⁣ Room cost: $1000/night ⁣ We paid: $340/night ⁣ ⁣ The standard room during the weekend we went was originally about $600 per night - since we booked through Amex Fine Hotels & Resorts, we got: ⁣ ⁣ āļø$200USD taken off⁣ āļøbreakfast included⁣ āļø$100USD for dinner ⁣ āļøfree upgrade to the Studio Terrace ⁣ ⁣ Everything was beautiful - the small room was expected but I didn’t mind when you consider all the other features and the huge terrace. The location was also perfect as it wasn’t in the busiest spots but close enough to walk where we needed.⁣ ⁣ The only thing I’d change is how they advertise their rooftop menu - some of the food items were very far from the actual Asian food they’re supposed to mix with (the Korean fried chicken was literally just fried chicken??).⁣ ⁣ From the website:⁣ The Barcelona EDITION is located on the edge of El Born District, an oasis in the heart of the city, beside the Picasso Museum and the Barcelona Gothic Cathedral, adjacent to the Santa Caterina Market and steps away from Plaça de Catalunya, Passeig de GraĢ€cia and Barceloneta beach. [It is] a modern design merging the timeless aesthetic of Ian Schrager and the bold buzz of Barcelona.
