You cannot accept any definition that is given to you. In 2020 I was commissioned by @penandbrushnyc to make an artist book, and man did I come for everyone in this 6.5"x8.5" little text. Using my hair as the cover, the text is personal and controversial, participatory and hyper-visual. There is an essay at the beginning that poses the question "Where does the truth lie?" and that question is the ethos and heart of this text. As we enter 2023, I find the topics explored in this book consistently relevant and contemporary. Whether we acknowledge the cultural brainwashing, censorship, corruption, and nefarious "humans" in power or not, this text is packed with a punch and not for the faint-hearted (nor would I want it to be).
