🧿 Ancestral Remembrance 🧿 ~Nar~ Feeling my ancestors. Noticing how certain plantcestors bring me to them. Pomegranate seed pulp reminding me of my Turkish blood. Moments with fig trees reminding me of my grandmothers touch. Olive tree fields bringing me into my ancestral dance. St. John’s wort. Linden. Wild rose. ✨ In the moments I feel a sense of question and discomfort in my belonging. The plantcestors meet me in the blood. They make me feel seen. Heard. Loved. Held. And in those moments I am home. I belong. Deeply connected to my ancestors. I am listening. I am open. Embodied, taking up space with all my grandmothers standing behind me. Grateful for the thinning of the veil at this time. We have the ability to be with them at any point. If we soften into listening. Invite them into your space. Into your practice. Through this pomegranate dance I find myself weaving generations of my blood with the juicy pulp of each seed.
