This line was the main anchor I wrote the entire mini series around. I first wrote it down on my notes around 2017? and just knew to hold onto it for a special project. When it came time to write #StrangersNeverAgain I knew I wanted to make sure this message was spoken. Because in the 10 yrs since the original “Strangers, again”, this was one of the biggest lessons I learned through my own relationships. Sometimes ppl say “every relationship takes effort” and other times you feel like “it shouldn’t be this hard!” Most of the time you can’t be certain which side you’re on, and most of the time you’re blinded by emotions like guilt, fear, and even love. There’s no one way to determine how to navigate the thin (& blurry) line. The most you can do is be on the look out for it. Give relationships your best efforts, but don’t deny when you may have reached the end. It’s been a yr since this important @wongfupro series came out.. so hope you don’t mind me sharing some more of these deeper commentaries of this project. I feel like we haven’t talked about love&relatiinships in awhile 🥲
