DREAM GIRL EVIL/“Make me evil, then I'm an angel instead. At least you'll sanctify me when I'm dead.” @florence 🫀 When I received the commission to create the visual artwork for Dream Girl Evil, I was in the west part of Highgate Cemetery, London. There is certainly an influence of the lyrics and their symbolism related to the angelic and the evil, but the cemetery with its Victorian aesthetics, its Gothic iconography, and its abundantly blooming collection of wild flowers also played their inspirational role. 🐍🥀🔮 Discover the full lyric video on @florenceandthemachine’s YouTube channel.
