A few months before this moment, @JordanBickham at Vogue reached out to us to see if we wanted to dress Chelsea as she was going to be freed. The honor of thinking of a person that went through the process of transitioning during incarceration and providing her with a wardrobe as a free woman was a mission we felt a calling for. One thing was clear, we wanted the materials to be softest, such as knit dresses in merino and cashmere. We wanted the pieces to feel like a hug.
