the reception dinner of our DREAMS!! 🥂🍾 we knew we wanted to start dinner off with an outfit change! For my reception outfit I wore this STUNNING beautiful cape by Taiwanese designer @nicolefeliciacouture I found at @jaxonjamescouturebridal. @jazminwhitley and I paired it with statement pieces from @verstolo and the cutest heels from @machandmach. I ended up breaking my zipper to my mini dress 7 seconds after putting it on so @tammypma & @mikirai had to literally pin me into my dress! If you see safety pins in any future videos/photos pretend you didn’t lol Matt ended up changing into his white dinner jacket and we took a moment by ourselves dancing underneath the banister before we headed back to dinner 🤍 we got 3 beautiful speeches from @andrewcfine @tree.ma & @mikirai and I bawled my eyes the entire time before Matt & I gave our toasts. We had food catered by @fundamentalevents and they did an incredible job. All night we were getting compliments on the lemon pasta, sea bass, and cornbread madeleines. I’m genuinely so sad I only took 4 bites total during dinner because I was too excited. If you’re getting married, PLEASE PLEASE make sure to eat! It’s our biggest regret! Luckily, Matt and I almost got a full slice of cake to ourselves! This beautiful cake was made by @tattooedbakery_ who was so patient with me and my vision. I literally changed the design 3 weeks before my wedding and they were so accommodating. I knew I wanted to tie in the fruits at the dinner table with my cake so I asked Ana to add sugared pears, grapes, and figs to the top of a classic wedding cake with vintage buttercream piping. We decided on a vanilla white cake with homemade strawberry filling for the bottom layer and a churro cake with dulce de leche for the top cake! Literally one of the best cakes I’ve ever had! Also of course I need to give a shout out to @simplybestphotography for photographing the most beautiful moments all day. I have sooo many more photos to post!
