Today would have been our 8th wedding anniversary. Our wedding was perfect—one of the best days of my life. After Nick passed, I finished one of his songs in honor of our 3rd anniversary. He had written it about losing his father, and I completed it thinking about losing him. It’s the only song we ever sang together, and it will forever hold a special place in my heart. I’ve always believed in celebrating life’s special days—even when they’re shared with the ones we’ve lost. Nick, “your smile remains every day.” ❤️
