Before and after on these @redwingheritage Beckman boots. Replaced the original half lug with Vibram 435 mini lug. Replaced the leather sole with an Oak Bark tanned 5.5mm leather mid-sole and attached the Vibram 430 heel block. Outsole stitched the leather mid-sole and hidden the stitch under the 435 mini lug to prevent wear to the stitching as had happened to the original lug. This also makes it easier to replace the mini lug without having to re-stitch the welt and reducing the lifespan of the welt.
