H. William Harlan’s admiration for the art of banknote engraving is the source of all the family domain’s labels. The Mascot bears the image a white English Bull Terrier named Prince that the Farmers’ Deposit National Bank of Pittsburgh commissioned from one of America’s greatest engravers to illustrate its stock certificates. The bank’s president, Prince’s owner, kept him at the bank’s flagship branch, where he enthusiastically greeting customers and employees alike, becoming The Mascot of the bank and town. We chose The Ned to celebrate our 10-Year Anniversary of The Mascot as it provides the perfect setting to reimagine Prince in his glory days, welcoming new friends. #mascotwine
