@trotse_tert arrived at @evol_nightclub two hours before @brettseiler X @thedeathofglitter opened, in tears. the dress wasn’t working she said. i had asked her to create a @viviennewestwood inspired gown out of my signature plastic drop sheets, not an easy task. it’s okay, i said. let’s fucking make it WERK. so there we were, in the little backpackers room that I use to dress in at the club, @rosakaroo_loewe feeding me sips of tequila while Blinx literally SEWED me into the outfit. and it was the most incredible moment that I had the privilege of experiencing; an absolute testament to the creative power that i feel with Blünke, one of the most fulfilling artistic relationships i have and one of the greatest humans i have the honour of calling my friend. tears turned into giggles, and endless shouts of ‘yaaas’ as her needle made magic across the slopes of my body. in the end, we made this. it’s the most fierce i have ever felt, in my fishnet catsuit and vintage #SwearLondon rave platforms; an evolution of my early #clubkid looks and the most elevated i think my grunge drag monster aesthetic has ever been.
