The Van Ness Recovery House is celebrating 50 years of meeting LGBTQ+ Angelenos battling alcoholism and addiction where they are, and providing the resources and care they need to achieve sobriety, secure housing, pursue employment, and more! My Homelessness Team and I had the chance to meet the team at Van Ness Recovery House, discussing the comprehensive and tailored services they provide at their facilities, and the support needed to continue to offer these services to residents. This work is critical in getting and *keeping* neighbors experiencing homelessness housed, and I’m heartened to know we have a valuable resource in Van Ness that we can lean on to address some of our most vulnerable constituents’ specific needs.
