In the blink of an eye, my college career has come to an end. It’s been hard to put into words what these past 4 years have meant to me. There’s so much I could say and not enough room to share it. The things we’ve accomplished throughout this journey is something I have always dreamed of and never imagined could be possible. Above all awards and accomplishments throughout my career, there’s nothing I will cherish more than the memories and friendships I’ve built. Ive been blessed with teammates these past 4 years who not only have a passion for the sport, but a genuine love and care for the people around them. Thank you for making everyday in the gym worth every second and pushing me to be the best I can be. I want to especially thank @dawn3sullivan for taking a chance on me. 5 years ago I would never have imagined I’d be where I am today and with the opportunities I’ve been given and I can owe it to this woman. Since day one, you have believed in me and have carved a path for me to be the best version of myself. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to live out my dream of playing at the highest level at two amazing universities. I am forever grateful to have been coached by you and to have built a relationship that will last a lifetime. I also want to shoutout @jhennagabriel , @missrel7 , @thecamargofamily_ , and Cullen irons for being the absolute best assistant coaches. I have been able to grow tremendously as a player by all of your guidance. Each one of you holds so much love for your players not only as athletes but as people. You guys have poured so much into this program and these people and it’s been such an amazing experience learning, laughing, competing, and creating memories I will hold onto forever. I’m not nearly ready to say goodbye to this place and this program, but I know I can leave feeling proud of everything we have accomplished and the legacy left for futures to come! I hope you all out in the community of Columbia continue to show up and show out for this program and to keep Hearnes such a special place to be. My volleyball journey is not over yet!
