When the first Covid-19 lockdown hit in March 2020, James lost his job in construction and over subsequent months, his relationship broke down. Without his usual coping mechanisms like socialising with friends, going to the gym and playing and coaching rugby, James found himself in a dark place, struggling with depression. James attended a course run by School of Hard Knocks.
