When I was younger I could only dream of a bigger world — one that showcased those who looked like me. And so I was drawn to Korean pop music, a genre that allowed me to see myself, celebrate my features, sing in my mother tongue. Never in my wildest years could I imagine KPOP becoming so big yet alone making it to the Great White Way. And so I was floored when I heard @deepkimpact created a show for Broadway. What a delicious and profound script he created! I was so thrilled to share this night with all of my NYC friends, and beyond proud of all in the cast. Truly, magical.
