If you saw us in the same room- you’d get that we’re sisters. But across the country, we’re night and day. My sister @messiejessiej was a sorority girl at a large Southern State and married her college sweet heart, they bought their first home 14 years ago and filled it with beautiful babies. She’s jimmy buffet front row I’m Beyonce and it’s perfect. This weekend her family moved into a new home. And I came to help pack /play with the kiddos/ visit gramaw ...because honestly I can hardly take care of myself and I have no idea how my sister juggles it all (while they both work full time). She is an ACTUAL super hero. The kids may not fully remember this house one day, but I won’t forget how bad ass my sister was when I was 18 and she bought this house. Late night board game nights and changing diapers and weddings and birthdays. That year *someome* broke the toilet at the holidays and welll.... Shit got weird. This is literally the last 5 seconds they each spent in their rooms. It makes me think of how many memories they have in this home they may not remember. It makes me wonder how many thousands of days my sisters and me had in our home that all blend together in our mind. No matter how “busy” life gets pause and appreciate the moments.
