Ms. Veteran America may initially appear to be just another beauty competition. But this goes well beyond a simple spectacle. The competition called Ms. Veteran America strives to raise money to help homeless female veterans and their children find housing. Homelessness is influenced by a number of factors, including unemployment, lack of benefits, military trauma, PSTD, and more. Homelessness among female veterans is both underreported and unjustified. These veterans are highlighted and given the resources they require by Ms. Veteran America and Final Salute Inc.
