Let’s recap some of my favorite recipes I’ve made in the last few months and maybe some bonus tips on creating Reels 😬 Some of these are original recipes while some are classics but either way, check out the recipe specs on my feed if you’re interested. Now, I want to preface this by saying I’m no expert by any means but I want to share these anyway. If you haven’t noticed, over the last few months I really tried to focus in on creating more video content for y’all. Reels have always been that elephant in the room for me. I had all the gear I needed to produce video but always felt like photo was the easier route and in some cases, it was. But then I found a formula that worked [for me] and I’d love to share them: 1. Find a look/style you like and stick with it. You’ll notice that some of your favorite creators in the drinks space traditionally don’t change their setting/style much. They’re usually in front of their bar or set and this is great because it gives you a sense of identity, call it your signature look, people should see your video without even looking at the tag to know it’s yours. 2. Find a lighting setup that works and don’t break it down after you film with it. You’ll be more motivated to create a video when all you have to do is flip the lights on when you start a video instead of setting up and breaking down every single time. 3. Browse the Reels tab every once in a while to get some inspiration and use IG’s template feature (as seen here). You can literally just insert photos/clips from your own photo library and it will already be synced up to trending music. They make it really easy, even for photographers. 4. Don’t be afraid that it’s not perfect and therefore it won’t get as much engagement as you’d like. You all have seen the content on here and being organic works. 5. Be you. People want to see what goes on behind the scenes and what the person behind the lens is really like in real life. This means go ahead and post some #behindthescenes of you shooting your content and living your life. Don’t be afraid to show people your personality, it makes you more down to earth and relatable. #reelstips #drinkstagram #compilation #recipereels
