Happy Diwali everyone! 🪔 I was thrilled over 300 residents came to the first ever city-wide Diwali event this weekend. Being part of a tight-knit South-Asian community here in Cambridge helped shape me in many ways and I am so proud that my office in collaboration with the @cambridgepubliclibrary and the Employees’ Committee on Diversity put this festival together. Thank you to our incredible performers from @mitbhangra, @mitnritya, and the Everest Nepali Youth Band.
