The world comes back to life and we are fortunate enough to live in a place to watch it happen. The scenery chasing these animals will take you to is some of the prettiest country I’ve had the privilege of laying my eyes on without a doubt. The lack of sleep and hours behind a steering wheel all seem to fade away when my back hits that tree and the woods come to life. It’s a feeling only one can live, it can’t be explained. I have been fortunate enough to lay my hands on a few of these things in my day. I love squeezing that trigger just as much as the next guy I promise. That’s what I strive to do every time I lace my boots but it’s not a numbers game or a picture to post, it’s the journey that gets me there. Don’t miss the little things, slow down, take it all in, and regardless of the finish, enjoy the chase. Thank you Lord for another spring time and a like minded group of people to share it with.
