One of my dearest friends asked me “what is the Lord teaching you this week?” My immediate response is “patience”, for wade and I are in a season of waiting for the Lords timing to buy our first home. In a season that has been filled with discouragement + unknown + filled with anxiety & weary hearts. We have been filled with an abundance of peace knowing we have a provider who has already created such a beautiful place to dwell in + call home. In a season where focusing so hard on the future and all the unknown of what that looks like, my eyes go blind to the present & what the Lord is teaching me now. Which is building such a beautiful unfiltered life filled with His creation, our community, our families, and just being intentionally present in the mundane of this world. Jesus’s goodness is constant, our circumstances are just for a season. This life is immensely beautiful to be stuck in the circumstance, that isn’t mine to carry.
