I went to Turkey alone. A local asked me why and I didn’t have anything poetic to say, so I just said, “I’m cool I’m on my own”. @ima_beat_yo_ass_on_dis_train once said I speak like a poet, which is beautiful, but that I need to start summarising that shit. (She didn’t use the English ssssz.) I left him and thought about what he said. Then about what I said. Then about what I said, some more and I love nothing more than being alone and the comfort it brings me. The same way one doesn’t teach a dog how to bark, being to myself is the most natural response I have to everything around me. I love being around the homies tho don’t get the game fucked up, homie - I miss them dearly! And being alone ain’t lonely, either! You can’t be gang with them til you gang within.
