Unforgiving rainy days, a whole lot of walking, and lots of coffee: not all that comfortable, but definitely a good time. It was so cool to see @evanhafer on the latest episode of @meateater with @stevenrinella, where they roamed around Alaska's Prince of Whales Island in search of blacktail deer. The latest season of MeatEater is actually getting posted right to their website, available for free. Head over there and check it out, you won't be disappointed. There's something about the show, and this episode in particular, that shows how we aren't separate from nature and the food chain and how we can embrace that. It also helps people understand the real value of getting outside, even in remote and difficult places. Even if you're not big into hunting, it still really illustrates this well for anyone.
