We are excited to open our Tijuana relief kitchen in partnership with @fundaciontijuanasinhambre and @icfdn, kicking off our first volunteer delivery day! This kitchen is projected to serve 2,000 fresh meals Monday - Saturday, and on sweltering days like today, also bring electrolytes and cold water to children and families at our partner shelters at the U.S. - Mexico border, including @casaymca_mx and @yeswecanwf. Deep appreciation for @chefssupportingchefs and @juansj3 for coming down from LA and for @poinginfantiles for a pop of happiness for the children on a hot opening day! Donors and advocates like you make it possible for us to launch essential projects like this relief kitchen which will ensure food security for so many. Critical final touches for the kitchen were supported by funds raised at our 4th annual soirée.
