Last night was surreal. I’ve never thrown an event before and didn’t know what to expect but the theatre was PACKED, I couldn’t believe it. Thank you all for coming to my premiere and for making my night so special. To hear how loved the film was and how it resonated with the audience gave me so much energy. Thank you to @everymancinema for supporting my journey as a filmmaker. Seeing my friends, people I respect and new faces was amazing. Mad my work was on the big screen. My nigerian mother is proud of me so we’re going up baby!!! Also, the woman was taking an obscene amount of photos I wanted to scream x Big love to @akinoladaviesjr @lainyblack @bindybaby @kemstagramx @cktrl @janvierwete for putting so much energy into that room.
