I’m back in Los Angeles! My trip to New York was amazing as always. The ‘Ciao! Manhattan’ screening was so special! Serious thanks to all of my friends that came out. It was a truly magical evening. I worked so hard to bring that together. So it really means a lot! And it was so good to see you all. Some of you I hadn’t seen in so long! I wanted to thank my partner in crime on this project @goodyweiss who came on board and really helped me to make this event special. I really couldn’t have done it without her. And @illyse and @roxycinemanyc for everything! @bibbe.hansen and #dannyfields who were our incredible special guests! I’m so honored to have spent time with them both. And @criterioncollection for letting us screen this very rarely shown cult classic. The 35mm print was pristine and made watching it on the big screen a completely new experience! My trips to NYC always fill me with so much joy. The vitality of the city rejuvenates and inspires me. It still feels like home and it always will. But for now LA is my home and it does feel good to be back. I always have such mixed feelings after my trips!
