Tofu is one of my favorite ingredients because it is sooooo modular, you can give it so many different textures and flavours, the possibilities are endless šŸ˜ Here is one of my many tofu recipes (#veggie and #vegan friendly) Ingredients (serves 2): • 2 diced onions • 6 large garlic cloves, grated (emphasis on the *large*, we want p'zassss) • 5 slices of ginger • 1 green pepper • 1 bloc of tofu • 1 Tbsp sesame oil • 2 Tbsp sweet soy sauce • 1 Tbsp mushroom soy sauce • roasted sesame seeds • red chili pepper • 1 bunch cilantro Steps: 1. Add frying oil to a large pan, turn the heat to high, then add the onions and fry until golden (1mn), then the garlic, ginger and red chili pepper (1mn) 🌶 2. Lower heat to medium, dice the green pepper and add to the pan šŸ«‘ 3. Immediately add all the sauces, mix well, and cover with a lid for 3mn (I like my green pepper to remain somewhat crunchy) 🄘 4. Add the tofu cut into large pieces/cubes (we don't want it to crumble) and mix well so it gets coated by the spices and sauces. Cook for 3mn. šŸ«• 5.
