President Zelensky has addressed the US Congress and received a standing ovation on his first foreign trip since Russia’s invasion of Ukraine 🇺🇸 He received a warm welcome with a red carpet at the White House. During his visit he met with America’s @potus @joebiden where the two held talks before they gave a national press conference 🗣️ The Ukrainian President thanked Biden for the $45bn in economic and military aid as he described the money as an “investment” which will strengthen national security 👀 While addressing the Congress he received at least 10 standing ovations “Against all odds... Ukraine is alive and kicking and will never surrender,” and ended by wishing the Americans a Merry Christmas and displayed a Ukrainian flag which was signed by frontline troops 🇺🇦 What do you make of this?
