It’s ok to say, “It’s unclear to me what direction we are taking, let’s continue to look at inspo pictures until we both know what’s going to happen”. How does the client currently style their hair? If it’s different then their inspo photos, explain what will be required. It might seem obvious but it’s not. What products DO THEY ALREADY HAVE? everyone has a grave yard of products in their sink and often it’s not that the product sucks, it’s that we don’t know how to use it. Time to use it up. Maintenance- how often will they have to redo this colour/cut to keep it fresh. This is an opportunity for pre booking. Cost- BEFORE YOU DO THE SERVICE.
