The Incubation of Baby Hella 🥚 In 2012, when we were all just little babies ourselves, I photographed Ruby for Rookie Magazine. I think that’s where we met.. there was absolutely no incentive for her to do this shoot but a leap of faith between two teenagers perhaps with a young optimism in the possibilities of making art. So it seemed only necessary to document her transformation into motherhood, which occurred (sort of) alongside the remodeling of their first official apartment as a family. Here captured at 4 months and 8 months. Proud of you for bringing into the world another unstoppable girl 🐣
