I went to Busan with the hope I would reunite with my father after 20 years.. but unfortunately my story didn’t end in the way I hoped as he is no longer a part of this world. I feel this heavy weight in my heart thinking I should’ve come sooner to see him before his time with us was up, but I also understand that everything in life happens for a reason and there was no way I could have predicted this outcome. I wanted to say thank you to all of you. So many of you have reached out saying that you’re also in similar situations and if there is one piece of advice I can give after my experience the other day, it’s for you to try to find them as soon as you can. Drop the anger, the nervousness, or the uncertainty because finding that part of you is important. Words can’t describe how thankful I am for all of your kind messages and support.
