I’ve breastfeed this little angel all over the world and so grateful to have been able to physically and mentally done so. She’s almost 19 months and we are down to 3 feeds a day. She loves it so much. As much as I’ve loved it too I’m starting to burnt out. I’m still new at trying to navigate my needs and hers. It’s really challenging when those needs feel conflicting. It feels wrong to ever choose myself over her and also I know that choosing me sometimes is better for her because my mental health directly impacts hers. I think maybe that’s a life long journey of figuring out how this balance works. Motherhood is beautiful and complicated.
