Beyond all of the math, there is a real issue here. If you like your job, your career, keep enjoying it and doing what you wanna do. I'm not telling you you're doing something wrong. But if you ARE working a lot of hours, missing time with family, unable to afford vacations, and there's things in life you'd love to do but have put on the back burner due to a job or financial distress then it's not going to get any better without taking action against it.
