Skönhetslidelse - Beauty’s suffering « Kräfta » 🦞 It looked like a crayfish, with red scales and long whiskers Eyes from the deep unknown ocean but a face yet so familiar They were now two, looking softly at each other Creature from the island, creature from the sea One would learn to swim, the other one to sing From this moving melody would spring a strong bond Showing that love and trust are the most beautiful languages one could speak — This serie was inspired by the term « Skönhetslidelse » or « Beauty’s suffering » that I read in Evert Lindfors’s book. He depicts this sensation almost as a disease, an inner feeling calling you to reach true beauty through your art. But since perfection can’t be achieved, it represents the journey you’ll take to fail repeatedly at creating your visions and how to embrace it, finding beauty along the way.
