A few highlights from showroom-ing in Milan this week for the pre-spring menswear market, aka holiday. Resort-ing with Etro, palazzo-ing with Dunhill, eyeing at Marchesi, Hector-ing at Thom Browne, eating at Bar Luce and drinking my favorite Chinotto (Italy’s national soda, a delicious cola made from bitter myrtle tree oranges), driving at Santoni, looking at the Giacomo Tabaccheria, swatching at Sartorio, growing at Massimo Alba, giant shoe-ing at Ferragamo, and heading home.
