'Ticket to Paradise' Movie Review 3 out of 5 Freddie B's - Satisfactory Starring: Julia Roberts (@JuliaRoberts) & George Clooney Overall a fine enough movie. The overall (twist, albeit small) plot keeps it from being an average rom-com. This movie is carried by George Clooney and Julia Roberts. Really showcases why they are what they are. Whatever they were paid was worth every penny. This movie starts off quick and continues to move quickly. A pro and a con because it moves too quick to connect and for the scenes really to land (understanding happens but they don't 'connect' with you). Pro because it makes sense because there is so much the movie covers and needs to keep the overall run time under 2 hours for movies like this. Movie has several cute (funny) moments with some legitimate laugh out loud funny moments. Casting was fine in all instances except for maybe the love interest of their daughter that's getting married. His look was extremely more amercianized than the rest of his family. A movie that could be watched on Netflix and be a nice movie night at home.
