REFLECTIONS: Often times when we look at ourselves we only see what's "wrong". But what if we saw thru a lense of unconditional love instead to appreciate the truth of what IS?! I love this photo because as simple as it is, it reminds me TO BE GRATEFUL for myself. And that I am perfectly made. The word PERFECT literally means absolute, complete... Which reminds me that I am whole. Worthy and deserving. Yes something as simple as a hotel mirror selfie can be a powerful reminder but only if we LET IT BE! (Perfect not flawless, please don't confuse the two). And when I look at this I remember: I'm not here to be flawless. I'm not here to be liked. I'm not here to be judged. I'm here to remember, reconcile, reflect... and to LOVE. And that the best way to do that is to just be MYSELF. UNAPOLOGETICALLY. From the core of my being and the truth of who I am. And I think that's beautiful. And simple. And powerful. That's the vibe I'm on these days. So excuse me if I am a little less that present on here these days as I am deeply present IRL. Especially since the launch of my album, which requires so much loving attention. Consider this post a gratitude proclamation: thank you for the gift of self (rediscovery and appreciation). I find that when I celebrate myself, I am able to better celebrate & connect with others too. Because ultimately how we do one thing is how we do all things #patterns. And this season of my life is about devotion, surrender and attunement. So here I am... in my tighty whiteys, make-up free SEEING & CELEBRATING MYSELF. #issapractice... and it feels fucking amazing!
