The American Academy of Arts and Sciences "honors excellence and convenes leaders to examine new ideas, address issues of importance to the nation and the world, and advance the public good." Inductees in the Humanities and Arts class this year include artists Teresita Fernández, Sam Gilliam, Sally Mann, and Hank Willis Thomas, musician Jason Moran, and choreographers Kyle Abraham and Miguel Gutierrez.
