#Repost @brewingchangemn ... Let’s talk about white supremacy. It’s real and it time to have an honest conversation about it. We are partnering with @modistbrewing and @finbackbrewery @breathingconversations to discuss how white supremacy benefits white folx and harms black and brown folx. In the wake of the murder of George Floyd, we have seen many breweries show up with theirs dollars in support of BIPOC organizations. We believe that money means nothing if their is no action. What actions are you taking to eliminate privilege afforded to the benefactors of white supremacy? Are you doing the sincere work of creating safe spaces for BIPOC folx to patronize your taprooms and work in your breweries? Breathing : Conversations, a DDH New England IPA will be released at the Modist taproom on Saturday, February 6th, and BCC and Modist will also be hosting a live conversation about race, injustice, and equality on Friday, February 5th at 7 pm. The conversation will be live streamed on Facebook and available on our website in case you can’t make it. This conversation will be moderated by the amazing Garret McQueen [@garrettmcqueen] and will include 4 panelists; Mahad Muhammad and Chlo(e) Moser of Brewing Change Collaborative, and Kale Anderson and Katie Muggli of Modist.
