Why I don’t like the phrase “Easy Run” ⬇️⬇️⬇️ **Disclosure: I’m not here to persuade nor debate anyone over this if they feel differently (which is fine). These are just my personal thoughts on it. 1. Leaving the house is a challenge, even if you’ve looked forward to the run all day. Things may arise that throw off a “plan” that you may have made prior to the run. Delays, getting to comfortable, etc. 2. Mentally Mentally, the run could be challenging although your body may physically feel fine during. Sometimes runs will really have you thinking during and you may not be able to turn that off temporarily. 3. The body may randomly tap out during (ex: Revisiting Injury, Stress, Exhaustion( that you didn’t even know you felt)). 4. Running is challenging entirely. I say this regardless of pace or how many miles you do. Trying to avoid injury, being in the right headspace, incorporating other workouts that will help with running. Is there a good feeling after completing the run, possibly but could there be internal thoughts lingering after, possibly.
