A little over 2 years ago I was scrolling through IG and I saw this familiar face. I met her about 5 years prior at church and she was always smiling and was so kind. At the time I was married and I definitely wasn’t on any funny business, but I was really impressed on how nice this young lady was! Fast forward 5 years or so later I was divorced and definitely wasn’t looking for a serious relationship but didn’t mind some pretty company! So while scrolling on IG one day I saw @ashleyjm714 and I sent her a compliment as I have done in the past. The only difference this time I was trying get a date so I made sure she knew the intent. After a few phone calls and some virtual courting I secured a date while we were both in Chicago! The First date was definitely interesting (a story for another time😂) A month or so later I invited her to a yacht partly with some friends and I. We went to the front of the yacht and talked for most of the 4 hour charter! Later that evening I took her to dinner! After this AMAZING 2nd date I was way more interested in just a cute date. As fate would have it I would have to relocate to ATL where she was living for work. After several dates I was SOLD she was the woman I was supposed to spend the rest of my life with!
