South round 4 🏆 Another really good day @claypigeonraceway for round 4 of the @club100racing junior SLW south championship managing to win the pre final and finish second in the final !!! Here is how the day went 👇 🔴 Pre event testing P1 A really good pre event test getting back to grips with @claypigeonraceway . At the end of the practice I managed to set the fastest lap to top the session !!! ⚪️ Practice P2 Another great practice session getting even more comfortable with the track and karts this time managing to set a lap fast enough for 2nd in group !!! 🔴 Qualifying P4 Another decent qualifying managing to get the most out of the session due to a lot of yellow flags. In the end I managed to set a lap good enough for P2 in ground and P4 overall. ⚪️ Pre final P4 📈 P1 A really good pre final managing to finish 1st from 4th !!! At the beginning of the race I managed to get up into P3 quickly and from there I caught up to P1 and P2 within a few laps. A couple laps later P2 made a move on P1 and I followed them through !!! I was now up into 2nd place and 1st began to defend into the hairpin so I quickly moved back over to the racing line, broke late, and sent it around their outside into P1 !!! I then managed to maintain a big enough gap to P2 and finish 1st place !!! 🔴 Final P1 📉 P2 Another good race managing to hold onto 1st place for a few laps before being overtaken. I was now in 2nd place and it continued that way for most of the race with me and P1 swapping positions for a couple of laps. But I wasn’t close enough at the end of the race to make a move for the win so I came across the line to finish in 2nd position !!! Another really good day @claypigeonraceway managing to score some amazing points for the championship !!!
