Well that was epic. Just spent a week riding bikes in Iceland with mates as a cheeky adventure for shits and gigs. It was one of those trips that was meant to be 2020 and as you may be able to tell, while we waited most of that time was spent by various team members organising matching merchandise for every available scenario. Learnt that Iceland is insanely beautiful. Learnt that orange kit really pops against volcanic gravel backdrop. Learnt when an Icelander says “it might be bad weather” they are not understating it. Learnt that the ideal bathing to biking ratio is about 2:1. Learnt that Icelanders are just bloody lovely. Learnt that some of the gravel tracks are not quite wide enough to ride 6 abreast. Learnt you can’t possibly overdo Icelandic themed album cover shoots for as yet unreleased albums. My favourite kind of adventure. The magic that comes when you carve out the time and leap into an unknown with great people armed only with a daring attitude and deep passion for theme dressing.
