🇵🇹 BEST WATERFALL IN GERÊS 🌿 📌 Save this post for your next trip! 😉 👉 Portela do Homem Waterfall is, in my opinion, the best waterfall to visit in Peneda-Gerês National Park, once, in addition to being really beautiful, it flows into an amazing emerald water pool, where you can swim and relax 💦 👉 The water is cold, since it is very close to the spring of River Homem, but it is also really refreshing on Summer days, when the temperature reaches 30°C 🔥 👉 Once there, take the opportunity to visit Lagoas da Mata da Albergaria, where you can swim too (and you’ll find it much less crowded than Portela do Homem waterfall), that’s my extra tip, you’ll get amazed at Nature in the middle of the bush 🌲 👉 Too, please be careful when in the waterfall: make sure you climb down to the bottom of the waterfall carefully, literally climbing the rocks, make sure you know how to swim and avoid swimming in different areas, in order to save your life and the others’ lives ⚠️ 👉 Extra tip: respect Nature! 🙏Keep in mind you are in the heart of a national park (the only one in Portugal), so you must preserve Nature instead of polluting it 🌿 💌 Follow @francisco.travels for more inspiration and travel tips! 🙌 #geres #parquenacional #penedageres #waterfall #waterfallsofinstagram #waterfalls #nature #naturelover #travel #travelblogger #travelgram #travelmore #portugal #portugallovers #igportugal
