On Wednesday, July 6, 2022, at 7:20 AM EST, I had the privilege and honor of being interviewed by Toronto's own Dina Pugliese about my solo Project T-Dot photo exhibit at Toronto's City Hall on behalf of City's Breakfast Television.
Dina is an incredible journalist, one of the best in Canada; she made my job easy.
I am grateful for the opportunity to share Project T-Dot, the exhibit at City Hall, the great people contributing to Toronto's hip-hop community and history, and my artistic journey with one of the largest television audiences in Canada.
Thank you to Breakfast Television's Devo Brown for his contributions to this morning's conversation and his contributions to Toronto's hip-hop history.
I am also grateful for the time, attention, energy, and trust of everyone that I have photographed for Project T-Dot, and I look forward to producing the remaining elements of the project, including but not limited to a coffee table book, a video-based documentary, and many more exhibits.
I am thankful for the opportunity to learn more and educate myself and many others about different facets of Toronto's hip-hop history.
The attention that Project T-Dot and Toronto hip-hop are currently experiencing, 16 years after I launched Project T-Dot, is inconceivable.
The exhibit is available at Toronto's City Hall until Monday, September 5, 2022.
Thank you, Toronto, thank you Canada, thank you ArtworxTO, thank you Manifesto Community Projects, and thank you Canon Canada. #tv #hiphop #toronto #photography #documentary
