What made you want to become a makeup artist and hairstylist? It’s a question I get asked all of the time...πŸ™‹πŸΌβ€β™€οΈβ£β€‹β€‹β€‹β€‹β€‹β€‹β€‹β€‹ ⁣ I guess the answer is, I’ve ALWAYS been a makeup artist and hairstylist. πŸ’„πŸ’†πŸ»β€β™€οΈβ£β€‹β€‹β€‹β€‹β€‹β€‹β€‹β€‹ ⁣ In grade school, I used to help my friend get ready for her ice skating competitions. I would always put her hair in braids. We experimented with French braids, fishtail braids, Dutch braids...you name it. In high school my cousins and I were bridesmaids in our Aunt’s wedding, I did all of our hair and makeup. I guess you could say that was my first wedding job lol. In college, my sorority sisters and friends needed help getting ready for first dates and formals. If it’s important to you, I want to help you look your best. It’s just what I do. πŸ’–β£β€‹β€‹β€‹β€‹β€‹β€‹β€‹β€‹ ⁣ Here’s a little known fact, in college I was a double major: Biology and Chemistry. But as soon as I was done studying or writing yet another term paper, I would spend late nights in the computer lab searching online for Red Carpet pictures and studying the hair and makeup. At the time I was obsessed with Jennifer Aniston, Gwyneth Paltrow (hello pink Oscar dress moment!), and Reese Witherspoon. All three the embodiment of beautiful, confident women. It was 3 long years before I figured out my path. And then I switched gears and put my focus on becoming a makeup artist! Many many many years later along with a lot of blood, sweat, and tears, here I am! Living my dream and grateful for every moment of it! πŸŒΈβ£β€‹β€‹β€‹β€‹β€‹β€‹β€‹β€‹ ⁣ I believe as women we need to lift each other up, support each other, and celebrate each other as we all navigate our paths towards living our truest, most authentic versions of happiness. And I’m here to help you all look beautiful while doing it! πŸ’‹
