A little under a year ago (halfway through my C7 build process) I decided to switch my Corvette build from a roll car to a mostly drag focused street car. Truth be told, I rarely raced from a dig before this year, but many friends in the scene had been transitioning that way and I knew that it was the future to continue growing and improving my impact on the race scene. Itโ€™s been a constant process of testing the car and bringing it back for tweaks - and one major issue being my suspension has plagued the car since it finished around TX2K. I originally had the car built for roll racing, and my entire suspension being non adjustable has caused major issues in the cars 60 ft, traction, and ability to do a clean pass (SEE LAST SLIDE ๐Ÿ’€๐Ÿ’€๐Ÿ’€) Luckily, at the start of next race season we will be back on track with a complete new setup and ready for both prep & no prep racing. Itโ€™s also entirely possible the car loses its manual transmission to become more competitive against ALL cars (right now I really only like racing other manuals). I figured iโ€™d show a few runs from our most recent @driftndrags event against some friends and other drag racers. Keep in mind, my car is turned down to about 700/800 whp as this track is among the hardest no prep tracks in the country to book & book on. All of these races were in good fun, and my car made more horsepower than each of them so donโ€™t take this as me flexing a win over lower hp cars. Im looking to continue racing competitively, and have many people waiting in line to get on the track against me and iโ€™m excited to take on as many as possible. Thanks everyone for the support over the last 3 years on this journey ๐Ÿ–ค First photo by @hvber.media ๐Ÿ“ธ
