You all know I live for this pierced in my heart. My friend Abdullah taught me this 5 years ago, when his dear mother was on her last stage of cancer. His father refused to accept that the Almighty was going to take her, he would constantly plead with Allah to save her. One day this poetic form was mentioned to Abdullahs father at Asr time and Abdullahs father asked for the meaning of this poetry as he was finding peace from it. The above was explained and he understood the message so much that at Maghrib salah he spoke to Allah and said “do for my wife what is best for her, it is in your hands not mine, I will be pleased with your decision” A few moments later Abdullahs mother kept pointing at a corner of the window as if she saw something, then she took her last breaths and passed away in peace. May she be granted the highest rank in Jannah, may we learn patience, may our heavy hearts trust in Allahs process and may we always be thankful for the good and the bad. I was living in a womens refuge when I heard this. I understood the meaning too and let everything go... 5 years later my whole world came back to me and more. #grateful #hadithequdsi
