This is your reminder to get your moles checked
•
Poor Jake! Today, after years of waiting, Jake finally had a mole on his head removed. The mole was on the top of his head and wasn’t a hassle until the past couple of years when we have both noticed that it had grown in size. Jake, eventually, was able to get a GP appointment who said that the mole itself was nothing to worry about but he had definitely done the right thing by having it checked out and booked an appointment for a few weeks time to have it removed. So today, this brave solider had a quick and relatively pain free procedure to have the mole removed. Unfortunately for Jake, the wound kept bleeding afterwards for some unknown reason so he has been rocking a head bandage all day (even in the office). Moral of the story? Get your moles checked - especially if it changes shape, colour, size or texture. A 5 minute appointment at your GP could potentially save your life. I know we are all busy people and some days we never stop by just take 5 minutes every few weeks to check out your moles, even snap a photo and compare as the weeks and months fly by and it will help you notice any changes. Never delay, it won’t just go away .
