These are a few things I’ve found myself saying in therapy sessions this week: 🌀 “How can you either accept what you can’t change, or change what you can’t accept?” A reminder to focus on what’s truly in your control, and choose either empowered action or intentional acceptance. 🛠 “Before we go any further, let’s pause and think: how can you make that work given your current situation?” It’s not about the perfect solution,it’s about what’s possible right now. 🕰 “Let’s remember that all we know is the current situation we are in now. We can’t predict the future.” Anxiety lives in the uncertainty. Peace begins when we root ourselves in the present. 📌 “If things remained the way they are now, would you be okay with that?” Sometimes the answer to that question tells you more than any pros-and-cons list ever could. 🎭 “Is that what you believe, or what you think others believe you ‘should’ do?” Distinguishing your truth from external pressure is a powerful act of self-awareness. 🚶‍♀️ “What would it look like to move forward without having all the answers?” Growth often begins before certainty arrives. 🧠 Common thread? A gentle nudge toward self-awareness, agency, and learning to live with the unknown. You don’t have to have it all figured out—you just have to be honest about where you are and what you need next.
